Summit for Life
Summit for Life is a nighttime uphill race up Aspen Mountain, and the biggest awareness and fundraising event of the year for CKF. Join hundreds of racers as they skin, snowshoe, run, or hike the 3,267 feet from Gondola Plaza to the Sundeck. Then join the party with a dinner catered by The Little Nell, live music, and the awards ceremony. Afterwards, ride the Silver Queen gondola back to the base, and enjoy breathtaking views of Aspen at night.
Colorado Gives Day
Since launching Colorado Gives Day in 2010, Coloradans have donated $469 million for thousands of nonprofits statewide. Held each December, it’s become Colorado’s biggest giving movement, bringing communities together to support nonprofits.
National Pharmacist Day

MLK Jr. Day

CKF Award Nominations
The CKF Awards replaced the Bounce Back, Give Back Awards. Now, we recognize 3 members of the donation and transplantation community with our Hero Award, Bounce Back, Give Back Award, and Community Champion Award. These individuals are lights of the donation and transplantation community and strive to promote organ, eye, and tissue donation. They have achieved incredible accomplishments and blaze the way for those in the community and beyond.
President's Day
Presidents' Day is a federal holiday in the United States that honors the country's presidents and is celebrated on the third Monday of February. The holiday is officially known as Washington's Birthday at the federal level, but it's commonly celebrated to honor all US presidents.
HOSA CO Conference
HOSA, or Health Occupations Students of America, is an organization that focuses on developing leadership and technical skills in health science students. HOSA's mission includes: Promoting well-being, Developing communication and leadership skills, Fostering character and citizenship, and Encouraging career growth in healthcare. Each year there is a conference held in every state and CKF will be attending the Colorado HOSA to educate students about donation.
International Women's Day
International Women's Day (IWD) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Significant activity is witnessed worldwide as groups come together to celebrate women's achievements or rally for women's equality.

National Donate Life Blue & Green Day is part of Donate Life America’s National Donate Life Month — observed on the second Friday of April each year. During National Donate Life Blue & Green Day, the public is encouraged to wear blue and green and to engage in sharing the Donate Life message and promoting the importance of registering as an organ, eye and tissue donor.

National Healthcare Decisions Day (NHDD) is an annual day to educate people about advance care planning (ACP) and encourage them to express their healthcare wishes.
World Liver Day
World Liver Day is a global event that takes place on April 19th each year to raise awareness about liver health and advocate for better care. The European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) leads the movement.

World Digestive Health Day

National Minority Donor Awareness Month
National Minority Donor Awareness Month is a collaborative initiative of the National (Organ, Eye and Tissue Donation) Multicultural Action Group (NMAG) to save and improve the quality of life of diverse communities by creating a positive culture for organ, eye, and tissue donation. National Minority Donor Awareness Month stems from National Minority Donor Awareness Week, founded in 1996 by the National Minority Organ Tissue Transplant Education Program (MOTTEP), to bring heightened awareness to donation and transplantation in multicultural communities – focusing primarily on African American, Hispanic, Asian/Pacific Islander and Native American communities.

Join us at Roll with Bob Roll in Moab, Utah! This mountain biking and road cycling event features four days of riding, coaching and clinics for riders of intermediate-advanced ability and three evenings of seminars and presentations with the Pros, Doctors, Nutritionists and Industry Reps. Back to School Campaign
In honor of students heading back to school we are offering classroom kits perfect for educating students about the importance of donation. These kits are completely free and suitable for those of all ages. Boxes include fun swag, games and educational items about organ, eye and tissue donation.
