Destiny Perez
Youth Media Coordinator
Destiny Perez is a proud North Carolina native with roots in both Forsyth County and the mountains of Cullowhee. She is currently finishing her senior year at Western Carolina University, where she is earning her bachelor’s degree in Marketing. A passionate and driven first-generation college student, Destiny transferred from Forsyth Tech in 2023, and has embraced every opportunity to grow personally and professionally.
Destiny has always had a heart for purpose-driven work. Her passion for ethical marketing and giving back to the community led her to the Chris Klug Foundation, where she is thrilled to be joining the team as the Youth Media Coordinator. In this role, she supports CKF’s mission of promoting organ, eye, and tissue donation, with a special focus on reaching and inspiring younger generations. As someone who deeply values education and advocacy, she is especially excited to help students learn about the life-saving impact of organ donation through creative, engaging campaigns.
Destiny has been a registered organ donor since she got her driver's license, and believes strongly in using her voice and skills to make a difference. In her free time, you can find her hanging out with her fiancé, Dusty, reading a good book (she loves a mix of science fiction and marketing reads), or planning her next creative project. She is also a big fan of live music, small-town festivals, and spontaneous weekend getaways—especially to places with good coffee and mountain views.
