Meet-N-Greet: Brittney Moreno
Brittney Moreno was three months old when she received a life-saving transplant. She was given a second chance at life at a very young age. Luckily, she did not have any rejections or complications with her transplant. Now at the age of twenty-five, she is still living an amazing life and gets to do whatever she wants.
Having been given a second chance at life she has now been able to give birth to her son. During her pregnancy, she was routinely checked every month and gave birth to her healthy son, Benjamin. Her Doctor’s were scared about her well being and the well being of the baby. He was born perfectly normal with no side effects to her medication and no heart condition whatsoever. She has made a huge impact by being open to speaking about her transplant, informing others and raising awareness. She made it her goal to make a difference and she raised 1.2 million dollars for the Children’s Hospital to help match kids who are waiting for a life-saving transplant.
